HOUSING: The hard drive comes in black plastic housing with "piano lacquer-look" (every fingerprint and every speck of dust immediately visible). Below left, the logo is milled and lights up blue when the hard disk is running. The case seems to me not very valuable, selected the material adversely, but do not bother me further. Well I like the button to activate and deactivate the hard disk.
CABLE & POWER SUPPLY: unnecessary I feel the special USB cable (the interface to the computer's standard USB 3.0 and abwärskompatibel), but the cable is on the hard drive not a standard cable. The USBleitung itself is very valuable, beautiful massive, therefore durable. The power supply is in my opinion a pure disaster. It served its purpose, the housing is large and the line has about the 1.5x the thickness of a headphone cable - not very valuable.
Interior: Built Hitachi hard drive has 931 GB of available space effectively. It is Plug and Play capable, NTFS (Windows Standard) preformatted: Connecting, press the button, is recognized under Win7, ready for use. It runs flawlessly so far. I use it only for occasional create backups. I would refer to as the hard drive barely audible, the fan of my laptop is louder. My laptop has only USB 2.0 itself, I feel the Airy as faster when copying, as my old 2.5 "USB 2.0 Western Digital hard drive. For 100 GB of individual files 3-10 MB needed in about 1h10min (estimate).
ACCESSORIES: Included is a bunch of software: "Audials, BullGuard (apparently a 1-year license, FILEminimizer," PCSuite "and a" Steganos "software I do not care particularly for the software, but they will try on occasion times..
CONCLUSION: Decent interior and good space / price ratio but cheap housing and power supply, for that there are withdrawal, otherwise I would give it 5 stars.
