"Gridiron", which means "grill" in common parlance, refers specifically to the USA the land on which the football we play. And in fact, all four chapters (monthly comic books "Southern Bastards # 5-8") rotate around an inordinate passion for this game, that exhibited by the young "white trash" game " trailer park "Boss Euless, yet little talent for the game and that nobody in the Craw County team did.
We know from reading the tome 1 that Boss is now the coach of the winning team Craw County high school and is now also the undisputed leader of this totalitarian bled which it controls any abuse. How Euless "Coach" Is Boss became what it is today? This is what this particular type of learning story tells us. Not bad, but becomes no one is born. Here is one more demonstration ...
It has already been pointed out in commenting on the previous tome that so AARON LATOUR that are "Southerners", the first is from Alabama and one of North Carolina .... This new volume is exactly the same creative line and quality than its predecessor. It also will delight readers who loved "Scalped" the same AARON.
As fair, the book concludes with a "big cliffhanger" that announces the arrival at a certain Craw County Private Roberta "Bert" Tubb ... "Homecoming" indeed!
