I am disappointed with this product. The wireless solution seemed simple for a not too expensive and a very satisfactory result, at least initially. Side Installation is easy, you connect your wireless Module behind the Xbox, you turn on the console, and then you enter your WEP key in the wireless network configuration menu. No problem, it's simple and effective and the connection is fast. The first months it worked very well with good speed and good stability. The demo downloads were made without taking too much time. However if you want your movies stored in your PC on TV is just a big hassle. The media center planned for it in the Xbox is a total scam because the formats would never agree. And when it's good reading is very random quality. So that side of it is bad. Finally after 5-6 months the connection becomes very unstable, the cuts keep coming and wifi module is no longer recognized by the Xbox. It is then necessary to disconnect and reconnect for this to work. But here nothing to do, the flow becomes catastrophic, navigation takes a lead and any download action takes hours. At my Xbox and nine boxes are in the same room and are separated by about 10 m without obstacle. So I opted for a wired connection via Powerline. And then magic! Never the connection has been faster! Stability and carefree! The wifi generally works well for surfing the internet but otherwise ..... a good cable is still something else. For simple web surfing that is enough. And if all your hardware is close to your ADSL box then this is nickel because you simply need an ethernet cable that is cheap. The xbox wireless module is ultimately a disappointing product and too expensive considering its effectiveness.
