From the start of this new adventure signed Preston & Child, the reader is drawn into the plot. The story is fascinating and well done, and the two brothers compete Pendergast cunning and ingenuity to outsmart the traps each other. Comparison with duels being waged Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty in Conan Doyle's novels is not exaggerated.
Only small problem: eager to satisfy their most loyal readers, Preston & Child truffent the plot of references to their previous novels, particularly through the characters. Regulars adventures Pendergast novels and other authors will be in heaven. Others may find that some winks unnecessarily weigh down the plot.
Nevertheless, the reader's interest remains constantly maintained by this strong and exciting story to the last lines that portend a continuation of the same level. Strongly next adventure Pendergast!
