Picture quality (5/5):
Previously I had the Panasonic BD30, BD60 and the Philips 7500. The Sony quality can however increase again. So the colors are very pleasant and of course the image enormously stable (especially in vertical panning). A real highlight for me was however the noise reduction: In the highest level, although you lose a little sharpness, but the image is enormous but quiet and plastically. So far the Sony delivers the best picture in my home theater.
Multimedia (5/5):
I could not play anything :-)
In addition to DVDs, Blu-Rays and audio CDs, and SA-CDs and DivX HD, MKV, WMV, WMA, AAC, MP3, MPEG4. My 500GB FAT32 drive is recognized without difficulty and also a WLAN interface is available. I am happy.
Volume (2/5):
A gorgeous high-frequency hum can be heard in 1.50 meters distance in quiet movie scenes. In hi-fi rack, however, that should interfere less. My video projector is as loud, so I can get over the still. Annoying but it is still.
Einlesezeiten (5/5):
Ok until I unpacked my DVD is started the player. Read This goes so fast that I just turn on the projector and can take place comfortably in his chair. With Blu-Ray I see then, although only the loading screen, the loading is then very quickly (even in the face Avatar).
Conclusion: If you wegsitzt more than 3 meters from the device or it can accommodate in a rack, the twang should not interfere. Otherwise, the Sony is probably the player with the best price / performance ratio.
