I've been meaning to buy a travel zoom for my Canon EOS 100D but I did not welches.Nach long search and reports I have the Sigma 18-200 DC OS HSM Macro bought loudly better touch and cheaper and sent back. This was just too slow at focusing and the movies are always the not exactly quiet autofocus noise clearly audible. With the Canon, it is as if you fly through another galaxy. No comparison with the autofocus because that is almost silently and quickly thanks to the STM technology. The image stabilizer is better and the pictures are for me just as sharp and beautiful as in the Sigma and anyone who thinks that makes 135-200 extreme zoom jumps, will be disappointed. I am satisfied with this lens!
