After reading some customer reviews about different models of Merrell, I had chosen for this shoe. He should be an easier alternative to my heavy hiking boots made of leather for me. This works well, but the foot feeling is in this shoe with textile lining not as nice as in leather. The Merrell Moab Mid sits rather far. For me, the footbed could be slightly narrower and longer. Gr. 42 goes well, at the right hiking it might like 1/2 no. Longer. I usually wear shoes in size 41, sometimes 42. (My leather walking shoes from Lowa are Gr. 42.5) Am satisfied with the price-performance ratio, the delivery was fast and without problems. For hikes in rough terrain and over long distances I prefer in any case before the "real" hiking boots, because the shoe from Merrell is a bit stiff and the "Mid" stem the ankle is not so well supported.
