The 3-kilo tripod is very safe there. Extended to full size is the screwed thereon camcorder at a height of about 190 cm, with a stable stand (legs a little further apart) a little less.
The tripod is set up relatively quickly. Since I had read in a review that the head could solve in to fast pans due to the not strong bolted connection to the tripod body, I screwed the first screw at the top for horizontally rotating firmly and squeezed it forcefully to the side. Since then, even this shortcoming is corrected, everything works great.
For functionality:
The Alubeine thanks snap mechanism deployed very quickly. Using an integrated spirit level below the swivel joint from the tripod head can determine the perfect horizontal position, even on hills. Even in high winds the stand is very safe thanks to its weight. Unfortunately, while providing no description was there, so I had to try all the screws once. The operation is relatively simple to understand. Due to rubber feet the stand is also in the house and on stone safely and does not slip.
For head:
The head of the DV-7000 is a class of its own. I know of no other stand in this price range with flüssigkeitsgelagertem head. No squeaks, no jerking, no creaking: even fast panning go from super soft hand when the tripod is stable (otherwise it could fall over at close state). Just a pity that there is no balance weights for the head when I mount my camcorder with external Micro because of the head decreases in dissolved vertical screw always forward. By increasing the resistance but succeed surprising pans no longer so good.
Even the retractable extension tube is connected to the crank easy to use, you must not forget, however, then to tighten the retaining screw again, otherwise the extension tube immediately returns with a correspondingly heavy camcorders in the holding tube back.
For quick-release plate:
The quick release plate is fixed to a lever on the fluid head. The idea is very good, because you have to throw the switch only, already, the quick-release plate are taken from the head, together with the camcorder. Even movies with the camcorder in hand and the quick-release plate untendran is no problem, she even makes her little weight gain for less fast and therefore less blurred panning. However, the edge of the plate drilled after prolonged movies without a tripod in the wearer's hand. Then they can be put on the stand again simply by being pressed onto the fluid head. The bounce-back levers one must then only tighten and ready.
Conclusion:
Tripod with top price-performance ratio, which is very robust and therefore withstands harder routes. A tripod bag is recommended. Strong buy recommendation to anyone looking for a top consumer tripod!
