Comprehensive book for the practitioner to serve daily. If the curious or the researcher can find a rich mine of information, the Michel-Henri Dufour intended primarily to people whose original teaching of the Buddha is lived, not only thought or understood intellectually. The books devoted to the school of Veterans are rare when one compares the number of those dedicated to Tibetan and Zen Buddhisms, it deserves to be published. Advice, reminders, all without concession, references to the great Ajahn Shah, the author goes beyond the narrow and dogmatic framework of religion, returning to the essence of the Dhamma: the interiority of Being. In short, a great work worthy successor to my (humble) opinion of the Teaching of Ledi Sayadaw or The Buddha's teaching of Walpola Rahula. On the other hand Dufour MH prepares a salutary update its French-Pali dictionary and a version of the Dhammapada.
