5 stars for the idea and the hammer

Who has not, a charger for the battery, a battery charger for the battery and then also different to make matters worse, batteries for the machines. Bosch now takes a different approach. The highlight, a battery for multiple devices, ranging from the jigsaw through various electric screwdriver to flashlight and lawn trimmers.

I have risen to some flurry of surfing a battery hedge trimmer (Bosch AHS 52) and those acquired with battery charger and a 18 volt battery with 2.0 Ah. With this device, I'm really happy so far.
Now I wanted a compact cordless screwdriver with hammer function (ie two devices in one) and have acquired the Uneo Maxx. Here I have taken into account the existing Charger + Battery of the hedge trimmer and bought the Cordless Hammer Drill without battery and charger. This saves space, easy on the wallet, both priced at about 60 euros more this device, and you can "work off" a battery and then buys after.

So, the idea deserves ever 5 star, but what is now the device?

The hammer drill comes with a weight of just 1.4 kg therefore, is good albeit slightly front-heavy in his hand, standing on the battery without tipping. Both grips are rubberized to the holding areas and so soft, the hands will thank prolonged use ...

The chuck is called SDS Quick System and I knew it not far. "Normal" SDS drills do not fit no normal drill. For the latter, you can drill as required purchase as an accessory for around 40 euros a keyless chuck Bosch. In this drill chuck only fit with hexagonal shank (bits) or the SDS Quick System. This means that the drill shaft is smooth, round and has right and left two small pins on the side.

In use, there is nothing to complain about, the screwdriver function is infinitely, is dosed via the control knob and is quite powerful.
About the rotary hammer function, I'm surprised the percussion sounds idle spotty but on the concrete he is really good and fast for a battery device.

Conclusion .: You get a good battery hammer drill for home use, you can see that also in the color Green, who wants more must acquire the blue Professional Series from Bosch.
The hammer drill done his work well, this is good in your hand and you can, if you buy it as a second or third device better than renounce charger and second battery.

Unfortunately little sidenote, a nearly identical design 14.4 Volt battery of a cordless screwdriver from Bosch does not fit. The batteries are almost identical, but the 18 V battery is in the Aufnahmeflähe a pen on the left and the 14.4 V battery on the right side.
