Very good ... use "PC"

Resolutely high-end headset, Sennheiser G4ME Zero One G4ME differs from its folding headphones (thereby saving space for storage) and its closed design, to be better isolated from the environment sound for total immersion.

The headset comes in a simple black box, it comes with a compact rigid carrying case and convenient. The helmet is very light considering its generous dimensions, the headphones very large cover both ears and comfort is waiting for you even after hours of wear, thanks to shape memory pads, covered with very soft synthetic leather. Be careful, these atria completely isolate the ears; when it is very hot, it is hardly pleasant and one can end with the ears sweaty ... Listed finish is successful and the headset looks really solid, but we could not expect less of a helmet to such fare. I also think that some effort on design could improve the aesthetics (especially the headphones I do not like these rubber grooves on the outside), but I quibble ...

The headphone jack works exclusively with two separate headphone and microphone plugs. It is also quite unfortunate that, firstly, 3 m cable (woven, although flexible and excellent quality) is not removable (thus not replaceable in case of failure or use of a shorter cable on a handheld device), and on the other hand nothing is expected to use catch combo of smartphones and laptops ... except to buy an adapter (Sennheiser PCV 05 - not supplied - or model Compatible.) As more the huge microphone is not removable, it is almost impossible to use outside on his mp3 player or phone (shame because it works very well though!)

A knob on the right earpiece allows varying the volume. The microphone is in turn automatically disabled when the flap against the helmet.

From the point of view audio performance, not much to fault with this headset, knowing that the front analog outputs computers are often parasitized and that in this case, a model of USB headset can sometimes be more interesting. Whether for listening to music, watch movies, play ... it's a very good helmet. The microphone sound rendering is also of good quality.

Does this justify such an expensive investment? I'm not totally sure, because of the lack of versatility of this helmet. Note that there are helmets already offering excellent fidelity to this price level audio and acquired two facilities (a very good helmet on one side, a smaller headset and the other reserved for the computer, if you just need a microphone for Skype for example) can also be considered. Nevertheless, it G4ME Zero is really very comfortable (except when it's hot.) To you ...
