This bed is not available from the material strengths and the wood used (pine) so tightly calculated that it is completely inappropriate for a youth bed from the stability ago. After a few days, a side panel broke under the weight of two guys with together no more than 70 Kg together (they have not done gymnastics!). Believing at first only to a manufacturing error and have a replacement side panel get supplied by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the problems were not resolved to the bed with it. The side panels and the supports for the slats are simply too weak dimensioned. The side panels bend apart at the slightest horizontal load, whereby the slats can fall through downwards. This has happened several times with us. Finally, I have equipped myself at the hardware store with square wood, screws and brackets and screwed a bar between the two side parts. It is now reasonably stable. Who does not want beteiben such product optimization, should be of this bed fingers. A shame really, with stronger wood and here and there 10 mm more thickness then it would be a beautiful youth bed.
