I play so IL2 and can therefore take full advantage of x52. With a simple joystick, the targeted use of bombs is impossible. Through the two knobs on the throttle I can trim my plane perfectly.
To the criticism of the last Posts: that is totally unjustified!
-> The lights you can easily turn off (Control Panel-> gameccontroler), this should, however, have the correct driver installed (included on CD), then you can use all functions !!
And if you have installed the programming software (which I incidentally find really great and easy to use), then you can really use the x52 in all games in which you can use a keyboard else! This software enables a variety of useful functions.
"Programming" The word frightens many people, because they think it's complicated, but this "program" is not really programming, no it is a simple mapping of keys on keyboard keys.
With a choice of modes, it is possible to program 3 modes that are adapted to specific situations.
So I programmed in Il2 following:
-Mode1: Start / Landing
-Mode2: Dogfight
-Mode3: Bombing
so it is possible that I can use the "Fire B" button in the first mode to extend the landing gear and the mode 3 to mark a ground target!
This allows you to use any key versatile!
1A peak joystick! Only recommended, smooth 5 points!
