Caveat: Delivery through dealers was prompt *****
The mill keeps visually what promise pictures and description; only the coating of the casing looks a bit cheap and looks like plastic of. But it is probably aluminum underneath. We can live with. ****
Also, the assembly is easy and once one sets victory carrier, the mill begins to grind, if you put the power switch to "Auto". Espresso Machines away, and even listen to them. So is this! *****
Unfortunately, the ground material was too coarse. This did not change even when the finest grind adjustment. Note: the Mahlgradeinstellungen should only with the engine running (should have been able to stand in the completely inadequate manual - learn but on the phone or in the reviews).
So the upper Mahlranz is again taken out and adjusted. For this you need a small screwdriver. Remove the two screws. A jagged to the left (towards "fine") to comply with seven setting steps. Screw back. In this procedure, you get used to it, to take advantage of the closure of the bottom of the bean container; on the site of the learning curve goes up.
Unfortunately I had little change after the first time. The second time did not, at the third and not even and after the good beans then are coarse-moderate through ground and the next pack drankommt advance of the call to the hotline after I browsed coffee-Wiki and the Webpage of Graef.
The hotline reports of yet one parameter: the upper Mahkranz easy 'times to 180Grad move (that one that makes only when properly inserting the Mahkranz until then I had long since learned is indeed in a good comment and can be seen on the homepage. (Video)).
I think in total I spent about four hours of enthusiasm and at least one pound of beans. Finally, it was so that I could set the extent fine adjustment at the mill that ever comes out no more regrind. Kommmentar the Hotline -sinngemäß-: I was on the right track. However, the final stages before were still so coarse that I will not take for espresso.
At some point it's over. More time and patience I do not invest. Either I have total Monday rivets caught -what but according to Hotline can- not be, or I'm just too stupid to imagine or Graef CM800's just can not and the Community are satisfied in their commentary with the coarse powder.
I have the mill disappointed and sad zurückgschickt again and grind initially continue with my Asbach ancient Krups 75. At least here the result is true. Against this background, gets the Graef, who has sent me, including the operating instructions only one point. Too Bad.
