I bought the PS3 version of this game as a birthday gift for a friend spontaneously after could inspire me right away the really ingenious trailer. And after retest the dude I had to buy myself's also for my XBOX360. As a fan of tactical FPS games of course I'm already since Battlefield 1942 a supporter of this action series in which the predecessor to settle, especially because of the huge maps with up to 64 players from other games of this genre.
Deviating from EA has in BF: BadCompany now placed the emphasis on the single player mode and reworked the graphics engine completely and adapted to the 7th generation consoles. Special appreciation course deserves the damage model around - that 90% of the level can be destroyed, although raw numbers are only at first glance (namely 'ne zero with' its nine front of it), but in the game the absolute highlight. So turns out quickly in the melee a seemingly secure coverage as salver when a lot of noise and hoopla dissolve the protective walls of a shelter for a tank shells hit in dust and you standing the enemy looks in the blazing sun in the eye - or needs to look. :)
In the game itself, you have access to the BF-known variety of weapons and vehicles - whether on land, at sea or in the air. The game character is a Soldier US Army and this one scares in an unspecified country somewhere in Eastern Europe (the beginning is very reminiscent of the Serbia-Bosnia conflict) through the barrage of enemy forces - here played by troops of the CIS. Accompanied will be next to his superiors nor of two other, slightly underexposed "fight pigs" do their part, but jokes dialogues and comments before the game for me as worth playing. These two guys are in Mission Briefing by the Sergeant not motionless beside it, but toss eg times of boredom.
Just a pity that the game (so far) has not been implemented for PCs, because I personally still have my work cut with controlling a crosshair per Gamepad - here comes me the mouse on the computer but much closer. But that is the only drawback for me at this game, and I can recommend it to anyone who likes to appreciate the exciting entertainment with first-person shooters. For fans of the BF-series, this game is an absolute must - no question!
