The device is working properly - both on my 450D and 700D without any problems. Manual activation (as a remote shutter release), as "switch delay" for self-triggering, as Intervalometer tried ... everything was great.
A switch has not my device. But if you're willing to wait for about 10 seconds and looked at the display, you realize that the instrument will be swapped when not in use, even in the "sleep" mode. Is also in the description.
If there is no mega-professional quality, but for the price absolutely fine. Pressure points of the switch (for example, to focus first before tripping) are totally OK and good for the price class to feel / to use.
For the price I'm satisfied, rather worse quality expected.
No wonder for generations, but the price is measured absolutely flawlessly and for each Hobbyknipser like me who that thing later anyway every few months times rausholt, no ifs or buts perfectly fine.
