The clock was due to their design (white) for one of our bathrooms thought and I must say it looks in reality really fabulous.
Unfortunately, I also noticed the same on what has already been mentioned here in some reviews; the clock has an incredibly poor viewing angles.
The clock hangs above the bathroom door in about 2.20 m height.
I am 1,80 m tall and only from a distance of about 1 m one can read the segments from the bottom - but still with good contrast. Only at 2 m distance to see the segments as they are supposed to.
My other, large LCD watches are as much better.
It is also related to the battery voltage; with new batteries (maximum voltage), the effect is at its worst.
I assume that 3 volts for this clock are too much (there are 2 AA batteries used in series).
If already used batteries segment contrast drops and the clock is thus easier to read.
Conclusion:
As already mentioned, a very nice and high-quality looking Funkwanduhr with really large display.
Depending on the installation location of the poor viewing angle, however, can diminish the pleasure significantly.
