In the manual (actually just a piece of paper feeding) is that a tablet for a water vessel up to 200 liters or a pond area to 10 m² is sufficient. With water vessel I guess that an aquarium is meant. In a subordinate clause is still that the treated water can also be used for casting, which will be in all types of indoor plants is the case indeed.
But no details of how many gallons of water on a tablet !!! 200 liters of water as the vessel / pond?
I thought to myself, I prefer to take more than enough and had half a tablet in 10 liters of water dissolved in the first application for casting and cast the plant very generous, that actually the whole earth is wet. Result: After 1 week, the fungus gnats are cheerfully hatched - the number something like without Culinex (about 20 per day).
When casting next week I have resolved half a tablet to 3 liters of water ... (the concentration increases so again). Result: even after 2 weeks, the total fungus gnats are further slipped cheerfully ...
The only thing that has brought something, were the yellow connector at the same time employed, where countless fungus gnats have remained stuck. Would Culinex (as indicated) kill fungus gnats larvae within a few hours, no later than expected after 2 weeks slip no new sciarids more after my logic after 1 week.
When I at noon today was alone again killed 13 fungus gnats of hand me the collar has burst and I repotted my jewel ... the Culinex tablets I will still use up - harm they are doing any more than they seem (at least against fungus gnat larvae) ,
Oh yes, because the dosage of casting I had the manufacturer sent an email with a request for notification of the right dosage, but received no reply after almost 1 week.
The decanted plant I will now "as a precaution" treated with a dosage of 1 1/2 tablets in 5 L water ...
Conclusion: It may be that Culinex effective against mosquitoes - against fungus gnat larvae, I could not detect any effect ... shame about the 10 euros that I've thrown out the window.
