This is a beautiful and strong anthology, in which Antoine de Baecque compiles reasoned and orderly manner extremely varied authors of texts on the theme, primary or secondary, walking. The texts are in turn learned or romantic, a variable interest according to each reader. The variety of texts, literary forms, styles makes digest that amount. For cons, the author navigation is not easy because you have to refer to the final index to find a particular text of a particular author. So, the book's approach can become tedious. But, there is a good chance that Baecque wanted a book a minimum hard pounding! Ideal to offer inveterate walkers.
