When a buddy I've often played on the XBOX or PS3 and know therefore both controller concepts. And even though I'm technically less convinced of the XBOX, the MS controller is simply the better.
Through the slightly higher weight and bulkier version he is simply much more comfortable in the hand as the Sony counterpart (many third-party manufacturers also lean on its shape their controllers). The feel is great and pleasant, the location of the analog sticks. The connection with the USB receiver is foolproof and (as long as the battery does not weaken) always stable.
Here with me is shaking the battery cover a bit, but that may be a single event or be because I open selfsame often.
And so we have arrived at the only real drawback: the Windows software. Each XBOX owners know that in their menu to turn off any wireless controller. Microsoft can not make it but unfortunately, to incorporate this feature into the software for its own operating system. The controller turns Although after 15 minutes of non-use automatically, but the energy I'd rather save, as I briefly open the battery compartment and close it again.
That's a poor performance, therefore a star deduction for an otherwise completely satisfactory product.
