from a Logitech G500s I especially did not like the ergonomics of additional buttons on the left.
Too small and too remote forcing in view of the morphology of my hand unable to rest properly on this one called G500s the order used.
the arrival of the G402 and G502 greatly interested me.
The opportunity given to me by amazon to try my hand at this G402.

The test is final, the new design is in my case a pure delight, as this puts both say the buttons in ideal positions compared to the G500s, said more buttons gained slightly in size, this combined ergonomics progresses .

Now why I put it 3 out of 5 stars, everything is in the title. Currently the G402 is available only 5-6 euros cheaper than the G502.

out there two defects that G402:
the first is that I do not understand how you can dress up a wired mouse gaming appellation without a braided wire greatly improves glide on the desktop, nothing worse than a wire (not flexible enough for my taste at Logitech ) that interferes with the glide dragged generated by the non-braided rubber sheathed cable grip on the desk surface.

the second fault of the G402 is related to more general use, the central dial is not débraillable, and what's more its too coarse serration.

Simply put, if you need to buy, it would be a shame for a few euros to forego the refinements of G502 that changes many things, which makes me think that the G402 can not possibly remain at a high price to 60 euros in August 2014
