The box is a little thick, but this is due to the fact that hard drives 2.5-inch 2TB version have two trays, unlike the 1TB version. I was aware of that, but any buyer who favors fineness must think this slight stress. The finish of the disk is arbitrary, with a not especially elegant plastic, but has the merit of being dull and therefore very sensitive to scratches. Moreover, with well-placed product price, one can not expect a metal finish. Like any USB hard drive 3, the output port is wider than that of USB products 2. Some buyers are still surprised by this.
When copying a large file to the disk, I measured a start turning around 120 MB / s. It's all good. To give a scale when I make a copy of a file from an internal hard drive at 7200 rev / min to a disk at 5400 rev / min in my PC, I came across the same flow. The efficiency of USB 3 interface and the housing is there.
The price / quality ratio is excellent. Indeed, in mid-2014, I have not found a 2.5-inch internal hard drive for less. It was therefore an external hard drive for less than an internal hard drive. Samsung is particularly aggressive on the rate.
I put five stars because this drive is perfect for a person favoring technical quality at the best price. In the market, there are more beautiful but also more expensive discs.
