Floor Jansen who joined the group full tour Imaginaerum had replaced very advantageously Anette and it is with happiness that the fans were able to hear again the securities of the Tarja era on stage. Live at Wacke showed a smiling group, a happy audience and a singer who magnified the songs Anette and strolled those of Tarja. This first album with the Netherlands was therefore eagerly awaited. Both say right away: do not look for opera singing, there are none and my faith that's a shame. The first feeling listening to the album is that the talent of Floor Jansen is untapped, it is clamped. Singing side there is the virtual disappearance of Marco when he was ubiquitous on Imaginaerum to overcome the lack of power Anette. Side compositions album is homogeneous but that is not donating, missing hits. Clearly this Imaginaerum view was better provided. The general tone is as heavy on "Yours Is An Empty Hope" by Peter in example that should live. The instrumental The Eyes Of Sharbat Gula is very average and the room 24 minutes, The Greatest Show On Earth, if it starts well, ends up stuck very quickly. My Walden is a great success on which Floor sings like a nightingale as Endless Most Beautiful Form. In fact throughout the album there is a sense that the group rolls the foot on the brake pedal, it lacks some heroic flights to raise the level. More disturbing, repeatedly I had the feeling that the songs are all more or less alike. Expect their live versions in the hope that these songs will be boosted.
