Large, fast, but too loud

Right now (Mai 2014) is the largest 2.5 "-HDD with normal height (9.5 mm). A quick test with the copy of a multiple GB file from a fast SSD to the HDD has a constant writing speed of the 100 MB / s. The same way back, so read speed was about the same speed. So great writing speed and useful reading speed.
The effective size is 1.36 Tebibyte in NTFS.

In itself a great hard drive if only the volume would not. The arg is high for a 2.5 "-HDD, for a quiet notebook I can not recommend the best of intentions, the running noise will always be very clearly heard from the short distance. The overall volume of my so far very quiet HTPC has it in any case significantly increases. The volume is through the pure running noise of spinning disks, the rattling during access, however, is hardly noticeable, since it is only minimally louder.
