I use the cable to my old laptop with an active USB 3.0 hub to connect to the table in order to use my keyboard and mouse. So I have no problems, the laptop itself has only USB 2.0 sockets and therefore can not use the full speed, but comes with my old 2.5 "external hard drive anyway to 35MB / s. This is at the plate, the maximum speed. The cable itself is quite stiff and inflexible, but can still handle well. As long as one does not want to bend over any edge the cable, you can deploy it well.
Addendum: I now had the opportunity to test the cable with 4GB data. The rate remained stable at 30MB / s. So everything is fine.
