This might look like a documentary, but it is not one at all, although the author is fully documented on the marine world, "The Bay of Whales" is primarily a love story. I loved the description and the psychology of the characters and the evocation of superb places and sometimes hostile.
The heroine has a terrible secret and the novel we reserve many surprises before an original ending.
A lot of emotion in this beautiful story that I highly recommend.
