CONTENTS:
Under the nicely designed packaging in titanium case design, a black box with hinged compartment hides. Once opened, shows then arranged clean, next to a little paperwork, among other things, of course, the headphones, the separate microphone, a little paperwork, a USB cable, the adapter for one controller and a cable device including control unit for the 360 controller.
PROCESSING / DESIGN:
In terms of processing, I can not fault the titanium case headset. The material is indeed only plastic, but very high-quality, sturdy plastic (with plastic anyway never what must be bad, because even my Sennheiser 180 headphones are made of plastic). In addition, the headset has no processing errors. There are no columns, it wobbles nothing, it creaks nothing. And the weight is neat. All in all, feels the headset for my taste at consistently high quality.
The design is also absolutely succeeded. The titanium case lettering are firmly inserted as the material, not just glued, and also the color scheme (gray / black with red accents) makes a great impression. The Micro can also be sealed up at the request or (depending on whether one feels like to yap). The thick "wire" at the mic is stable and can be adjusted without any problems (then remains in the position). The only downside in my opinion is that the jack cable is firmly integrated in the headset.
COMFORT:
As the biggest criticism of the nonexistent comfort is often mentioned, because the headset is much too narrow to sit on the head, according to some opinions. I can personally speak again definitely 100%. One thing is certain, the headphones are quite tight on your head and you have not necessarily much room / span with the bracket. However, I personally have a very small head, and for my taste it fit perfectly Turtle Beach! The over-ear shells nestle perfectly around the ears and the pads are also very pleasant. Due to the small room (which I regard as a plus point) sits the headset also firmly on the head without slipping or wobbling. Other headsets that offer a lot of room, often sitting very vague on the head. However, I can very well imagine, this is the headset for eyeglass wearers quite unpleasant. However, I am not wearing glasses, so I practice concerning the wearing comfort no criticism! Even after two hours of continuous use, I had nothing to complain about.
SOUND:
And Soundwise convinced me the headset on the board. In addition to the headset function itself, the Turtle Beach can also be easily used as a standard headset (via smartphone, tablet or the AVR). In the field of music and film of headphones, for example, keep up with others in this price range. Powerful sound, not too bassy, very deatilreich and warm, no complaints! And while gambling there is absolutely nothing to complain about. I tested the headset on my Xbox One and the sound is knotless. No faults, no dropouts, no buzzing, no cracking, no! Drawn angestöpselt, quick update for the controller and you're done! A clean sound, which perfectly re both the game sound and the calls and passes.
Criticisms:
One thing I have to complain about, however, and these are the failures of the link the the included adapter causes the controller. If the adapter that is plugged in, regularly get the message on the screen, which is the connection between controller and console canceled. Very annoying! Hope MS repaired here via update for!
My conclusion is this: Apart from the failures of the link with the Xbox One, an absolutely recommendable headset! Sure, for spectacle wearers (or big heads) may be a little tight the bracket, and the sound perception is anyway always strong from own taste depends. I personally give the headset, however, for the time being earned 4 stars, because the processing is top, the sound and neat datt thing sits perfectly on my pear. In my view, this headset is worth every penny. 4 stars
