For many years I had a DIN A3 cutting mat from another manufacturer in use. Unfortunately, my better half it recently managed to bend them permanently, so that a straight cut is no longer possible to her. So when I got the offer from Amazon Vine to test these Westcott cutting mat, I very much took on course. And I had in mind that I, if I am satisfied with it, me one DETERMINED A3 format in DIN.

Unfortunately, the tests were not to my satisfaction. Although the mat first time visually with the centimeter dimension on one side and the inch dimension on the other side made a good impression, bothered me from the beginning to the extremely smooth surfaces on both sides. In a likewise smooth work surface this mat slips away too often. But also very smooth paper, which I wanted to cut on the mat with Cutter and steel ruler, slipped out and I had a lot of wastage.

In addition, the mat was damaged after a few cuts. The cuts were deep and also lead to wastage. Self-healing looks to me definitely different. Unfortunately I can not give buy rating on this cutting mat.
