Installation:
From accepting the package to HD movie enjoyment it went very quickly with this receiver.
Unpacked and connected the install, including tuning (took not even one minute). And the installation was about the easiest, since no technical prerequisites required and everything is explained exactly --on Deutsch--. The card for HD + is already plugged.
The device is not really big, but also not the smallest (probably due to CI slot).
Service:
At the beginning, here's a small flaw: the device needs (at least from the energy-saving stand-by mode) 10 seconds to it to be. This shows itself in that you think you would have already switched on the S835, although the standby light is still on.
The digits on the display are clearly visible and can be adjusted in their brightness.
The remote control is ok, because, although looks very simple, but that is an advantage because you have so no unnecessary buttons and always can press exactly what you want.
The switching times are low and the EPG, including InfoBanner are clearly designed and "informative".
The teletext is very fast in most stations.
The setting of favorite lists is also a breeze. All most exactly explained and easy to use.
It is important for me that the receiver is "remembers" what favorites they had activated when you turn off the receiver and then again takes the next time the S835 as a starting list and also also the station is stored. (Was my last receiver not!)
The rest of the settings, such as image settings etc. are also easy to master, since the main menu is well-structured.
Picture and sound settings can also switch while watching TV, or change.
Image Quality:
The image quality is very good at SD and HD broadcasts! I had 2 other HD receivers and that is the best.
What can be seen here as the only point of criticism is that some "older", not in 16: 9 filmed broadcasts or films that come in a HD channels ind 4: 3 broadcast and the picture is not set to 16: be stretched 9 can!
This is but not how many argue AN HD +, which is also at ARD and ZDF!
Conclusion:
The equipment is top and the relatively low price! In addition, you have 1 year of HD + "no additional cost".

I'd like a few more statements about this product that I have read here or in forums or on blogs, DISCLAIM:
