After my negative experience with a Panasonic DMR-BST700 and Kathrein UFS-932 and several other SAT receivers I ended up at the Mini Humax iCord. Below my experiences: Positive: - Finally a SAT receiver with recording function does what it should: record, pause (timeshift), forward and rewind (with limitation of the HD + programs) and the whole thing with no funny business. Unfortunately, this can many I tested SAT receiver not as smooth as I expect it to. - Bundled HD + card and a CI slot for additional pay-TV broadcaster. - Two SAT inputs for independent viewing / recording of two programs. - A TV-output of for example transmits the SAT signal when turned off the TV. -. Intuitive menu and simple set up of the SAT receiver including the transmitter. - Built-in apps (eg access to MaxDome or library of the transmitter) are easy to use. - Functioning access to MaxDome incl verify-u.. - In HDD shipments stored (not HD +) can I work on my Windows 7 PC View (URL in WMP identify and thus look in VLC). -. Intuitive remote control with control (volume) of the TV. Negatives: - From power on to standby passes an eternity (about 30 seconds). -. Takes Erasing a recorded program for too long (should be in the range of 1 second max are, however, takes 1 minute (SD) to 2 minutes (HD). - Since purchasing the Humax iCord Mini about 6 months ago is still no update available. Thus, neither my suggestions for improvement or any other corrections in a new software have been incorporated.
