The aging battery of my iPhone 5 will allow me to take a whole day, I purchased this product as a battery backup. It loads quickly with USB Micro Cable Type B (supplied but standard). I can charge 2 or 3 times my phone before charging the external battery, which is not very hot (it was my fear).
It's convenient, relatively small size (a big lipstick tube) and the design is quite nice (silver color). I am not using the lamp function, a little gadget.
