My review refers to the combination of Tetra Crystal Water with the Tetra Aqua Art LED 60 liter tank and not on Tetra Crystal Water alone!
The included enormous Heizer- filter combination of AquaArt basin produces hardly flow in the aquarium and can not filter out of the water seemingly smallest, but still visible, particles. It does not matter whether one uses the EasyCrystal filter pads with or without activated charcoal. The water is therefore always slightly milky and not just clear. I hoped therefore, Tetra Crystal Water could help here.
To test environment:
The old, dirty filter pad was taken out and the filter block roughly in the basin cleaned. It has now been removed sludge and 2/3 of the water discharged. A new filter pad with activated carbon was then used and refilled with fresh water. 24 hours later, as before the partial water change, a significant proportion of particles in the water to see who will make it easily appear milky. I have now given 30 ml Tetra Crystal Water in the water.
According to instructions should be visible after 2-3 hours the first effects. For me, the water is extremely white. After 6-8 hours, the water should be clear. My water now has the color of the air of a smoking pub around 23:00 clock. After 6-12 hours I should have crystal clear water, but it is many times more turbid than without treatment! After 36 hours, the clarity of the water and it is felt by five times dimmer than before treatment stabilized.
My Conclusion:
In my case, Tetra Crystal Water impairs the clarity of the water a lot. With a good filter I might have better results, but then needed this means probably not.
[Update as of 13.05.2015]
I am now the proud owner of a Eheim Viva Line 180 aquarium combination. In this one Eheim Biopower 240 internal filter tinkers with standard fittings. Here CrystalWater also shows no effect, but at least not permanently deteriorated water clarity. After 36 hours, the water is as murky as ever. But since there are so many positive reviews, even with products from other manufacturers (eg Easy-Life - I have already tested without success), I assume that they work with good external filters.
