I (or actually my girlfriend) have cried afterwards 1 year of a PS3. So long did it take until SingStar is finally available on the PS4. Why exactly? For the PS3, there was at the end even the app for free (!!!) could be installed. Songs could be played in the store or even PS3 and PS2 discs. Why the old SingStar app was not simply ported to the PS4?
The new application has nothing !!! Sounds nasty. But is so. I feel as if I had bought a beta version or a demo. A version with limited functionality.
What annoys:
- No game modes.
- When duet you will not even asked who wants to play which part.
- No difficulty.
- Much less songs in the store than with the PS3 version.
- Purchased songs must be downloaded separately tedious (including the payment process, which is free.).
- Old PS3 or PS2 discs can not be inserted (or is it the past you could press Select and change the disc?.).
- Only 2 players.
- Far too many unnecessary clicks needed in the menus.
- Income and nested menus.
- ...
There is little to report good.
+ Loading time of the songs are shorter.
+? Much more I do not think of. Sorry.
I feel ripped off as a customer. For a year now I have a PS4. So far there is not a single game that has justified the purchase for my personal taste. Because virtually all the good titles have come on the PS3 out there and pitch differ graphically at 3 meters hardly !!! I am currently seriously thinking on the PS4 to sell to bring me a good old PS3 and a PC. Sorry Sony, you messed up you just so right!
