Those like me who is an old Dieter Falk fan who is using this CD have a lot of fun and once well-known rediscover (eg "Praise the Lord all those who honor him or" Now all God "Give thanks). In keeping with the Paul Gerhard 2007, Dieter some of Gerhard's best and most famous hymns in typical popig-loose kind rearranged.
He plays there again with professional musicians, is not surprising. Everything on this silver disc sounds coherent. Unlike previous albums (where sometimes even the trumpeter from Chicago or Steve Luthaker played along) is "A Tribute to Paul Gerhardt" rather jazzy therefore. All tracks were recorded live in the studio - a rarity these days. What I think is great: for all his work as a producer for PUR, Pe Werner, etc. and Dieter Falk work as a jury member of Popstars has remained true to itself - not least by the influence of the Christian Siegerländer environment that he know in his childhood learned.
Conclusion: Buy? Absolutely!
