Configuration:
Commissioning is simple to make, for default, it will quickly complicated (no comparison to eg Fritz box). Therefore lay I think the router only suitable, but experts will get their costs. Unfortunately, the router always forget after a few weeks, the web access password (retained while all other settings), so that everyone can view and modify the settings on the network. This problem is described by other people in various forums, a not freely available beta firmware is supposed to remedy.
WLAN Quality:
During a conversation, the transmission rate is fine. Outstanding due to the "SmartBeam" technology (automatically adjusting directivity of the antennas) is the quality but not behind two concrete walls I get for example with a Fritzbox significantly better reception on my notebook. The biggest shortcoming: Some days can be produced absolutely no wireless connection to the router, only after several reboots / reset you have another chance. In my experience this problem coincides with the forgetting of web access password, thus appears to be a firmware issue.
Conclusion:
For me, the router meets on most days its purpose and offers wired and wireless devices access to the Internet via an external cable modem. I had decided against a Fritz box, since it is much more expensive and I so do not need the built-in modem. I can recommend the device is not necessarily and would decide after the event for a different router. If the password and wireless problems would solved through firmware updates, the whole thing would look a little better.

UPDATE 18/08/2012
After I in the "Wireless Network Settings" channel "2,462 GHz - CH 11" have fixed, can I get with my PC now always reliably connect. A few weeks ago there were no more days, at which as described above "no wireless connect to the router" Lies. Also, the web access password has since not been reset. The only problem that remains: already behind two walls breaks the connection to my laptop often times from, with the Fritz box I had, however, even in the basement still receiving. Therefore advantages in the "SmartBeam" technology I see not continue, but increasing times to 3 stars.
