It might be everything come so, and maybe I did not keep so now this unique album in hands when namely FALCO would not have come on February 6, 1998 in a car accident.
Dichand has in the pretty booklet which it in this lim. Expressed are Edition as a side dish, so beautiful, "Falco knew he always stood on the stage." Many of his texts were answers or responses to the hussle. Among other things, it is exactly what the phenomenon "Falco" constitutes - and what you could admire in him, if you wanted.
At one point he was the hussle probably tired and disappeared in the Dominican Republic. But I'm pretty sure that he would have done it again, if he had just enough time ... all speculation. Unfortunately.
And now I think this high-gloss digipak in hands, and start almost crying. What's almost ...
As a child of the eighties, I think frankly the music of this decade very little. Somehow, I'm so sorry this artificial beats. Cindy Lauper, flashy painted and bestrumpfhost, scribbles, she wants only have "fun". Boy George scared with his looks more than with its evenly-soporific beats. Neee made in such figures I would buy only in bad nightmares a "best of".
Falco was different. Falco was a rebel. Falco was modeled. Falco had proper, real, success. And he had not because he "produced" and demonstrated how a besmokingtes Wiener Schnitzel with sunglasses and gel in his hair. As a fan, you had the feeling that the man is not mutated in spite of its popularity to self-righteous egomaniac, preacher, moralist or else an artificial beings. In the tiny Austria at that time it was quite easy to know someone who knows someone who with the Hansi Hölzl was just the other day on the road and has spoken to him or even celebrated.
Falco would never be dismissed for me as a 80's garage. It is perhaps because because one has then already so busy with him. Him, who broke all conventions and has even rapped with the "Commissioner" in the American charts at the top. Unsurpassed, or characteristic of his courage is and will always remain his "Jeanny" for me. What a scandal! "Coming Home" (= Jeanny Part 2) - neee what we've all been waiting for the appearance of this single! But never - never! Never! - Was a repeatedly announced 3rd part. This raises entirely the question of what still lies dormant in Bollands in the drawer. A knack for business, you can both do not deny. You owe to "Jeanny", "emotional", "The Sound Of Music" ... and with "America" both a great Springsteen or Dylan because of me parody have tinkered. "America" but you can also grow fond of, because Falco tells a piece of her life ("... There's say: '. FALCO YOU ARE WONDERFUL / Kumm's Wed have slowly like ....' ')
Totally psyched sings it every time and with the deepest fervor to Parties with: I'm just a "Egoist"! I think to myself, the Hansi Hölzl wrote this so that the people were finally confirmed what they knew anyway always (and much better than him). He was a magnet for the media, but slowly we went (also private) downhill.
"It's all over baby blue" originated in 1982. A Dylan cover. ". Wos past is, is past baby blue ..." One wishes now - in retrospect so what's said yes always easy - more such cover versions.
And so it was that in 1999 his "Damn it, we live" introduced by a Déjà Vu - refrain was taken (from "Egoist") rather quiet and silence all of us to note.
"Tribute to Falco" - a rather unnecessary synthetic obituary, the only thing that the song still gives a heart are Falco's words ".. ... I'm an open book Look's one I've got nothing to hide."
On the ". Higher than ever - lim Digi Edition" is available in any case something previously unknown: "Urban Tropical". I knew not before. But can only promise the song runs off without TV, like a movie. Genre picture of the club culture of the 80s. Weird birds hang around in bars gloomy scene. A sonorous retrospective. Not least because of the pattern stick presentation can I get this album Falco fans and Interesierten who are "always wanted what Falco in the closet" - recommended!
In the song "Out Of The Dark" Falco sings: "Give me your hand my life Give me the price ... Do I have to die - - - to live.?"
Quite close is one's because at heart and you totally lost whispers to himself: "No, Falco, no ... ---"
3/21/07 Apicula [review "Limited digipack"! - Please note that this album here a track contains less ("Urban Tropical" there is on this version does not!), But in a jewel case and without this mentioned in the review booklet, comes along. The so-called "lim. Edition in digipack" has certainly earned its name in this case! Certainly worth mentioning such quantitative and qulitative differences! -]
