Due to the rather atypical for rock cover artwork and album title I was really worried! Nevertheless, I have pre-ordered the album, because I have never been disappointed The Answer. So do not worry ... it rocks !!!! The opener and title track "New Horizon" has since been calmed down. There is rocked, strummed on guitars and unrestrained herausgeschrien everything. These are The Answer !!! Otherwise, we, as always, a very well-produced varied album. The first single "Spectacular" has a great hook and eats the same `s ear. Some need, thank God, a little longer. Just as the Led Zeppelin-esque "Speak Now". The band has found a perfect symbiosis between bluesy '70s and modern hard rock. "Kill me Baby" also could be called there. There are great Stampfer as "Concrete" full throttle numbers (Scream Louder A Love, Road Less Travelled) and even something like a ballad! "Call Yourself A Friend" starts very quiet and beautiful, but at the end of the tape can probably no longer contain himself yet, and the thing comes again from right. The English band, incidentally, invited in your early days of the band "Alter Bridge" on a joint tour, has just one decisive advantage: playfulness !!! With each album and each song you can feel the desire to make music again. The simple upper fantastic singer Comac Neeson, has a so insanely cool voice with immensely high recognition value that you have to almost smile when listening pleasure. The rest of the band knows their craft to the point where the driving rhythm section Micky Waters (b) and James Heatley (dr.) A fat sound carpet lay on the exceptional guitarist Paul Mahon and give Mr. Neeson. All in all (again) a rock album of the superclass. Thanks a lot for this!
