Do what it is, but nothing particularly outstanding

I have not bought the headset to have audiophile experience. And this does not supply it of course. I just do not disturb my love while gambling on the couch too much talk and the car racing over the network with my friend, and both allow the headset, of course, to the fullest satisfaction.

What the headset also still good may: look good. Truly a jewel, to be processed or neat, although everything is made of plastic - up to the covers of the bass shaker aluminum, contributing to the good looks. Unfortunately, many well hidden mounted switch the device are very difficult to operate in poor lighting and their labels is also barely legible. Since all switches have the same shape, to get as upset ever. There are only 3 identical sliders: volume, intensity and PULSE-Mixer (balance betw chat sound and PS3 sound.). But in handsfree operation while wearing the headset you have to anyway all switch positions by heart remember.
The battery life is okay, given seven hours should fit, ranging from completely, because to tweak later than after 30 minutes of head already begins, because the seat of the headband is not very ergonomic.

On the subject of bass shaker ("Pulse"): For those things, I have a very ambivalent relationship. They are not a bass shaker, which convert the sub-bass in frequency just vibrations, but obviously work always in the same frequency. Similarly, the vibrators in cell phones or gamepad. Since you have the vibrators on the ears, the vibration is converted to the cranial bone in structure-borne noise, which in turn triggers a bass-feeling in the ear - but always in the same frequency! So you have always a rumbling on the ear, which, although somehow makes a bassy impression, but I have something else presented including either the vibration but I just feel not hear, or - if I already hear what - then please also in the gem right frequency. Source and not always the same rumble.

And that brings us to the sound: The headset sounds flat. The sound - whether virtual surround or stereo - is neither strong nor brilliant, hard bass, thin middle, diffuse heights. Mir is the wurscht frankly, because it's not so it matters to me at the PS3. But compared with my Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro (wired headset, a headset), the play priced in the same league (although the money is going on here solely for the marvelous acoustics driver and not for electronic antics as Headset, Bluetooth, Virtual Surround or "PULSE "), the speakers in the headset are a disaster!

So overall chic but mediocre on the PULSE stuff you should renounce to Sony's site and the money prefer to invest in decent acoustic driver.
