This power supply fulfills the purpose and meets the applicable standards for power supplies. It is small for the performance and the operation is only lukewarm. The connecting cables are sufficiently long (1.7 m length, the low voltage cable = what is connected to your computer, so that the power supply placed still well under the table for laptop / screen comes.).
The connector is robust and fit properly and firmly fitting into the socket provided.
Note to plug: The plug is 5.5 mm outside and inside the terminal 2.5mm thick. There are 12V connectors with a 2.5 mm mandrel but which at 2.1 mm. If you have a device you should remeasure the read or. To measure thicknesses in mm exactly a vernier caliper is suitable (EUR 15 at Amazon). For devices with 2.1mm mandrel plug it fits though but there is just a strong loose contact.
The power cord has a Euro plug rather than come without protective contact. Since the housing is completely enclosed and is made of plastic which is a perfect solution easy to use and fits in many other countries in the socket - without adapter.
I measured by the power supply at about half load. The voltage drops of 12.54 V (idle) to 11.75 V (load at 34W). The efficiency is then about 83% (ie 17% of the energy needs, the power supply, 83% comes to the consumer). This is "simple average" and corresponds to the values of two comparative power supplies that I got came with a computer case. I have measured with relatively high-quality measuring instruments.
Conclusion:
A decent power supply but not particularly efficient and also the other electrical characteristics are at best mediocre. For example, the power supply "Seasonic SSA 0901-12 12V 80W" comes to 87% efficiency (measured and stated manufacturer agree).
I recommend the power supply for the operation of monitors / laptops and other devices that do not run in continuous operation without restriction.
I am also pleased about a comment if the review was not helpful for you and what information you have missed.
