Goods Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock and Jack DeJohnette earlier guarantee exceptional trio music is so in the recordings of the past 10 years a significant "wear" see / hear. Goods late 80s and especially the mid 90 years, concert recordings moments of Trio music as the last shots are relatively routine, but uninspired acting recordings. This also applies to the new album "Somewhere". The standards are recorded relatively listless, in "Improvisation part" missing the ignition, or at least new ideas, the "combined" compositions by Jarrett with classics by Miles Davis and Leonard Bernstein come without really new moments thus. Only the last song "I thought about you" is convincing as a ballad. Has "the trio" created with "Live at the Blue Note" Out of Jazz, and the inheritance shall only managed at the moment. Manfred Eicher will know why this recording was in 2009 only now published, the handset can only guess .....
