I read somewhere that there is no galvanic isolation between the charging jack and headphone jack on the iPhone (and apparently in many smartphones). Whether this is so I do not know, but it sounded plausible and it was in various forums to a mass separator filter is recommended to get a jack or cable with such a filter.

As a single point of criticism on my part, one could say that a total of "only" is about 80cm long, and that is not mentioned in the product description! Have risked and bought. In my case it fits. 4 stars so because of Funktionalität- suits. 1 star deduction because it gives me a little short, and the length is not specified here.
