I bought the hard drive for the backup function of my Kathrein UFS 923 because its internal 250GB hard drive (WD Green) was full and always had several misfires / artifacts. (Shit energy saving function) I have all the records on the My Book pulled at a speed of 5GB in 10 minutes; in my opinion, fairly decent, more is just not via USB. After WD Green removed and replaced with WD Caviar Blue 500GB. The My Book unpacked, fear hatched, it was recognized finished. Records rübergeschoben (whole afternoon) and you're done. Plate is at room temperature is not hot, makes no noise. I can only recommend to anyone the My Book. Durability will be seen. Surely one or another of my using the panel doubtful for, but I wanted to make out of my house no firm and network cable strands through the house embarrassed (by WLAN I hold absolutely nothing) and NAS Server instalation and hourly me or for days with networks deal; something is for someone who has time.
