The Quick Start Guide should be followed exactly, and not to be alarmed if there is known only one password, but the browser user and password is required. The password is sufficient. The device has a very good range and shows me even under problematic conditions 98-100% link quality. No wonder, since the Bridge comes with a neat (detachable) antenna.
The only drawback: The first change the password I enter an apparently long password (14 characters) and was allowed to perform a reset, because I am no longer able to sign it. With a password length of 8 characters all went well. However, I have not tried to reproduce the behavior. Possibly it was also me.
In daily use, the device is impressive across the board and deserves full marks.
