The plant is operated via the PC through the three jack (6-channel), associated with a Creative Sound Blaster Recon 3D sound card.
My impression so far:
For the price you can not complain really. Personally, I find the sound very well. In both games, as well as music and Blu-ray movies the sound for my circumstances sufficient. For movies, the sound comes to match the scene from the respective direction (each speaker), voices are clearly visible even when in the background playing action-packed soundscapes. The widespread problem with standard speakers that voices too quiet and explosions are too loud, I no longer with the system.
In games, the sounds come also to match the scenery. Voices of the game characters talk behind me, come even from the rear speakers, etc. Bass is well defined, you realize when you turn in game shots each fired bullet = a short bass impact. I am thinking here but makes the sound card to a large proportion of the sound quality.
To test the performance with music I downloaded a couple of classical compositions as Lossless (Flac) file in 5.1 studio quality. I was also at a high volume, no noise, scratching or distortion perceive. The bass was a little too violent and somewhat imprecise (fuzzy) but after I adjusted the subwoofer down, and have put the EQ of Creative on classical music, the problem was also largely eliminated.
A star, there nevertheless deduction:
1.Wegen the somewhat cheap looking Processing
2.Wegen the missing wall mount. If you already do not attributing this that you should at least offer a suitable accessory. Screws for fixing the boxes I had to order extra since a special / rare UNC thread is available on the Internet.
Finally, it is still said:
I'm not an audiophile and my ears are not devil / Bose / Harman / Kardon spoiled. Previously, I had a 100 watt 5.1 system of Tevion. I'm not an expert or a professional what you probably noticed also my everyday compare. A connoisseur who coupled his expectations on the experience and achievements of eg devil plants for 400 and more, is the sound of the Z906 probably not appeal but the average user / gamer expected performance more than sufficient.
