Supplied with 400ml cleaning spray, 150ml lacquer (eg "Rosso Red") and 50ml hardener included, as well as a simple and sufficient instructions.
Before the varnish can be applied, the parts to be painted must be cleaned. It is advisable - if possible jack up -the car completely, so that all 4 calipers can be processed simultaneously. It is not necessary to dismantle the calipers, it facilitates an especially cleaning work much easier. Especially it should be avoided that cleaner / brake shoes come into the brake system, otherwise the optimize braking function is no longer guaranteed.
After the parts are cleaned, the varnish with the hardener are mixed. The two doses are right in the optimum mixing ratio (3: 1, 150ml and 50ml paint hardener) and thereby can be mixed in the paint-box, which saves the use of an extra vessel. Only a brush must be purchased. It is perfect for a brush of thickness 6-8mm in width, as this still comes good in any corners, enough paint is received and the danger of "foreign Refinishing" other components is minimized.
The listed in the instructions for use 2 sprays are an understatement to say the least. After the 2nd crossing has indeed been in about the color that you would like, but this is by no means applied extensively and if someone the can empties completely in 2 passes, this is definitely too much. For me it has become very popular (albeit somewhat time consuming) work, as I have painted all times fully and 4 in between the paint had about 30 minutes allow to dry. If you look at all 4 calipers reiherum off are you can go to the last a sip of beer desired accept and then start again at 1.
This type of paint is very economical, it avoids unsightly color drops that might attract attention later and after 4 finishes you're done, a 5th round of perfecting is as yet possible, because the paint should be present more than enough.
I would recommend this product definitely and give good conscience 5 Stars. It is an easy-to-apply, hiding and gloss lacquer of the - in the case of red - tremendously well come into its own behind black rims and is absolutely unbeatable for the price.
For self-users I recommend to approach with the necessary peace and quite first apply a little paint, so that the saddles can take this and immediately ends up overloading of color on the saddles. Have Fun!
