I have all the connections compared to 5W and 10W Apple loaders compared (iPhone4, iPad Air)
Only at the proposed site's iPad connecting the iPad Air can with max. 1.5A load. That's less than the original charger (2A) and also less than lt. Manufacturer specified (2A). Accordingly, it seems in my opinion impossible to get the LED indicator for charging currents> 2000mA displayed.
At the connections for "iPhone" and "Standard" the iPad is loaded with almost 1A, connected to the "Galaxy" with 0.4A.
Why you had to spoil the pretty solid unit processed in such a pattern, only the manufacturer but is know for the price of less than 8 I forgive despite the incorrect manufacturer's instructions 4 stars because the PLV is good.
Note: The device caused in the charging mode strong FM reception problems! In my case, the kitchen radio is about 50cm away, the sender image noise with increasing power of the power supply. I'm not sure on this insight, if it would ever pass the CE EMC testing and if I should leave the thing permanently plugged (as planned).
