The measuring liquid "galinstan" used (a mixture of gallium, indium and tin) strongly adheres to the inner wall of the measuring tube and can not even after many attempts to shake down properly. Instead, a bubble has formed in the measuring liquid which must distort all future measurement processes inevitably. The new material "galinstan" does not seem to be quite mature; with the reliability of the old mercury thermometer has certainly nothing in common this thermometer.
