I use this tuner to a Synology DS214se with the free package Video Station mainly for recording television programs; Live streaming works well (with rare shows dropped frames when HD programs, but which are not coming from this flash drive).
The decor was very smooth, but it took about 25 minutes, until from the channels of the first channel is found.
I had hanging the stick to test sometimes short on a PC (Win 8.1 x64) and even there it ran smoothly with the included software.

!!! Update !!! (08:11:14)
According to the latest updates on Video Station and the DSM Stick Video Station is no longer recognized as Synology must necessarily make improvements! Of the officially supported DVB-S receivers are (in Germany) to buy only two.
There will be no devaluation, since this product nothing for the poor (in this case) update policy of Synology can, but at the DiskStation there ought to be (currently) really only one star.
