Updates and online functions are available only via LAN.
The "BD Wise" mode (together with Samsung TVs) is at Blu Rays pure exhibition: contrast, color, sharpness and 24p are automated and output reference like!
In these DVDs are output as 720x576i; this is not the optimum. When you turn off the BD Wise mode (and then the automatic Erten Upsclaing to 1080p) is the picture (for my eyes and my 55 inch TV) better!
But since everyone can decide yes and switch itself. Otherwise, however, the mode is great.
Silent Drive; one hears only briefly when reading the disc. Quick Start Mode is also dabe and really fast.
Great 3D player for frugal consumers and little money: 5 stars from me!
