I used several mugs before finding this one. The other did not keep the temperature or had leaks. In the morning I poured my coffee before taking public transport and even arrived at work (+/- 1 hour later) my coffee stays hot. In hand, the mug does not transmit the heat of hot coffee and suddenly we can keep on hand, which is convenient in transportation. The system is AUTOSEAL nickel, works great and you can even block it so it does not accidentally activates in the bag. I even recommended a second for my mother!
